Brand-new Wordle clone Squabble adds a multiplayer component that sets it apart from the pack while maintaining a connection to the rest of the clones through its focus on a battle royale format. Using only the letters provided, players have six tries to guess a five-letter word in the amazing word-puzzle game Wordle. Whenever a player makes a guess, the game verifies whether or not that letter appears in the word and, if so, where in the word it appears.
It's a vast improvement over Wordle, allowing for an unlimited number of simultaneous games between an unlimited number of players. The game of Squabble can be played with up to 99 other people at once, making it a true multi-player experience.
The objective of the game is the same as in Wordle: to correctly identify the five-letter word. To show how close you came to guessing the five-letter word, the tiles will change color after each correct guess.
A letter's absence from a word is represented by its color being grayed out. Green means the letter is in the right place and correct. However, when a letter is colored yellow, it means that it is present in the word but in the wrong spot. Competing against other players means not wasting any time. You must correctly guess the word before moving on.
