By its very nature, Speedle is a faster alternative to the classic word game Wordle, making it ideal for those who finish the original game too quickly but still enjoy a good challenge. Speedle allows you to create the most challenging iteration of Wordle possible by adjusting a wide variety of settings to your liking. Although it lacks the novelty of the original Wordle, this unlimited version is quite good.
At its core, Speedle is a lot like Wordle. You'll have six tries to guess a single word using the clues provided by the green and yellow squares. When a letter is correctly placed in a Speedle square, the square will turn green; otherwise, it will turn yellow to indicate that the letter is present in the word but in the wrong location. In contrast to Wordle, which limits you to just one game per day at midnight, Speedle lets you play as often as you like.
Words with five letters are always the first to appear in the original Wordle. On Speedle, you can adjust a word's difficulty using a slider. The number of letters in the solution can be adjusted from four to eleven using the slider at the top of Speedle. The catch is that each game only allows you six chances to guess.
