Redactle is a great tool for stimulating the mind. You play the role of the magazine's editor, tasked with finding solutions to word games and cryptic clues. You peruse a paper and find coded messages. If you'd rather have a more difficult time of it than playing Wordle, or if you just want to spend more time contemplating hidden meanings, then try Redactle!
The goal of the word game Redactle is to decipher your opponents' redaction codes before they do. You'll need to fill in the blanks and word fragments provided by other players with your own best guesses of letters to win. If you're confused by that, don't worry; you can learn all about the game and how to play it by watching the video up above.
This is a quick-moving party game for 3–6 players that can be finished in about 30 minutes. Each participant on both the red and blue teams is given a set of cards with various letter combinations (such as "V + ER") plus a card with a secret redaction code (a hidden phrase). Each player takes turns exchanging one of their letter cards with another or requesting one of their opponents'. When they give you an answer, you can expose your redaction code to check if there's a word in common. If so, mark it as finished; otherwise, keep looking until you find it. To win, a team must decipher all of their rival's codes before the other team can.
